Open Jar was one of the best weeks of my life! I learned more than I ever dreamed of; about auditioning in New York, how to mentally and physically prepare, about who I am and that I have to love everything about myself, and most of all that theater is what I was meant to do and will do for the rest of my life. The staff, interns, and guests were all so inspirational and caring. I know that I have a family at Open Jar now and forever. They will push you, teach you, and love you! Take the opportunity to jump out of your jar and become an even better you.
Special thanks to Jeff Whiting, James Gray, Sue Teater, David Wilson, Jeff Bessleman, Don Alden, Joseph Mitchell Parks (Acting Co., and his workshop was one of my favorites), Beth Johnson Nicely (actor/dancer), Thayne Jasperson (actor), Danny Burstein (actor), Bob Cline (casting director), Stacia Fernandez Iactor), Michelle Elkin (dance faculty), Jamie Cummings (actor, improv), Chris Nichols (Agent), and all the other staff and interns.
If you are considering this program, I fully recommend it with all of my heart!
