Worst company I’ve ever had the displeasure to deal with. Cruel , insensitive and frankly am utter waste of time.
Tried to claim for holiday flights we had to cancel due to wife being suddenly diagnosed with cancer requiring urgent surgery 12 days before we flew.
They made every attempt not to settle claim, accused us of fraud and implied that we should have cancelled the surgery and gone on holiday! After caring for people with cancer for over 20 years I’ve never known anyone cancel surgery for cancer so they can have a holiday! Cancer can and does spread and is time critical!
Avery will NOT pay for valid claims unless you complain to the insurance ombudsman.

I recently made a claim for ''scheduled airline failure'' due to Monarch Airlines going into administration.
Initially Rightpath refused the claim simply stating
the scheduled departure date was outside my period of annual insurance. I challenged this as this would make the insurance worthless for any event including cancellation due to illness unless the scheduled departure date was in the insurance year.
Rightpath responded that I was in fact covered and they were mistaken but they would not honour the claim as they said I was covered under the ATOL scheme.
I pointed out that if I had been then I would not be claiming on my insurance as the ATOL was automatic repayment. I had in fact booked directly with Monarch but paid via my PayPal account and therefore did not receive any ATOL certificate. The claim is still outstanding and I intend to take the matter to the Ombudsman
It is quite clear that the people employed by Rightpath do not know the terms of the policies they are handling and even when proven to be wrong do not attempt to understand the facts of the claim.

I made a claim for a missed flight on my way to Beijing Airport. After being messed around by the insurance company 'Insure and Go' as to who was actually dealing with the claim, I was finally passed over to RightPath Claims to pay the claim.....and guess what....they did not pay.
They referred me to the fine print in the contract that said they needed written proof of an accident or the reason for the delay to the airport.....when I asked them as to how was I supposed to do this in a foreign country in a foreign language....they asked was there anything on the news etc.....I asked them again, how was I supposed to do this in China. I do not speak or understand the language and I was at the airport re-arranging my flight. This is a total con and a sure fire way for them to get out of paying the claim......just want all you other potential customers to hear about my experience and to beware

SHOCKING is the only word I have to say regarding our
recent dealings With these people!
My wife was stressed out regarding the travel on our last booked
holiday so we did not go.
Our doctor clarified this situation in writing , however Rightpath claims
dismissed our claim ,calling it a MENTAL issue.
NEVER will we have anything to do with these people again.
My wife does have a back problem, this was diagnosed by our doctor
who fully supports our claim , telling us that it was in fact just a stress
related issue .
